1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Predictor League FIFA World Cup 2026 competition ("the Competition"). By creating an account and entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must be aged 18 years or over.
  • Participants must provide accurate registration details.
  • Employees, family members, and associates of the organiser may participate unless otherwise stated.

3. Entry Fee

  • Entry into the Competition costs £15 per participant.
  • Entry is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Competition Format

  • Participants predict the score of FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.
  • Predictions must be submitted before the relevant round deadline.
  • Once a round has locked, predictions for that round cannot be amended.
  • The Competition will consist of multiple rounds corresponding to stages of the tournament.

5. Scoring System

Points are awarded as follows:

  • Correct score prediction: 5 points
  • Correct match result prediction (win, draw, loss): 2 points
  • Favourite Fixture selections receive double points

The organiser reserves the right to correct scoring errors where necessary.

6. Leaderboard & Rankings

  • Rankings are determined by total points scored.
  • The leaderboard displayed within the platform is considered the official leaderboard.
  • In the event of a tie, the participant with the greatest number of exact score predictions will rank higher.
  • If still tied, the prize will be split equally unless otherwise stated by the organiser.

7. Prize Fund

  • £10 from each £15 entry fee is allocated to the prize fund.
  • £5 from each entry fee is retained by the organiser to cover platform costs, payment processing fees, administration and management costs.
  • The final prize fund will depend on the total number of paid entrants.
  • Prize details will be published before the Competition begins.

8. Payment of Prizes

  • Winners must provide accurate payment details when requested.
  • Prizes will normally be paid within 30 days of the tournament ending.
  • The organiser reserves the right to verify the identity of winners before payment.

9. Competition Integrity

Participants must not:

  • Create multiple accounts.
  • Attempt to manipulate results, scoring or rankings.
  • Access accounts belonging to other users.
  • Exploit bugs, errors or vulnerabilities within the platform.
  • Interfere with the operation of the platform.

The organiser reserves the right to investigate any activity that appears suspicious, fraudulent, unfair, or detrimental to the integrity of the Competition. Where the organiser reasonably believes that a participant has engaged in conduct that may compromise the fairness or integrity of the Competition, including but not limited to suspicious prediction activity, collusion, multiple account usage, abuse of platform functionality, or attempts to gain an unfair advantage, the organiser reserves the right to suspend or remove that participant from the Competition without refund.

The organiser's decision regarding competition integrity matters shall be final.

10. Platform Availability

The organiser will make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The organiser is not liable for:

  • Internet outages
  • Device issues
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • User errors

11. Data Protection

Participant information will be used solely for the operation of the Competition and in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation. Personal information will not be sold to third parties.

12. Limitation of Liability

The organiser's maximum liability in connection with the Competition shall not exceed the participant's entry fee. The organiser shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

13. Competition Cancellation & Refunds

The organiser will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the Competition is completed as advertised. However, if the Competition cannot continue or be fairly administered due to technical failure, data loss, platform malfunction, legal or regulatory issues, force majeure events, or any other circumstance beyond the organiser's reasonable control, the organiser reserves the right to suspend, modify or cancel the Competition. Where a cancellation occurs and the Competition cannot be fairly completed or reasonably restored, all paid participants will be entitled to a full refund of their entry fee. Refunds will normally be processed within 30 days of cancellation. No additional compensation beyond the entry fee paid shall be payable.

14. Amendments

The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary for the administration of the Competition. Any significant changes will be communicated through the platform.

15. Organiser

The Competition is organised and administered by Predictor League.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
